SUMMARY:Single-cell Genomics: Technology, Analysis, and Applications
DESCRIPTION:
2015 PQG (Program in Quantitative Genomics) Conference | Harvard T. H. Chan School of Public Health

Visit the event webpage for full details. Registration is required, with special rates for early registration before Sept. 25, 2015.

The Program in Quantitative Genomics will host its 9th conference, “Single-cell Genomics: Technology, Analysis, and Applications” on November 5-6, 2015 at the Joseph B. Martin Conference Center at Harvard Medical School in Boston, MA.

Single-cell genomics is an exciting new field with many biological and medical applications. The ability to quantify genomic, transcriptomic, and epigenomic information at the single-cell resolution has provided great potential for systematic characterization of the cellular heterogeneity associated with developmental and environmental perturbations and diseases. In this conference, we will bring together a diverse group of scientists to discuss the state-of-art of single-cell genomics and its applications to biomedical research and public health. The conference will be centered on the following three topics:

SESSION I: Emerging technologies for genome-scale single-cell analysis
SESSION II: Computational methods for analyzing single-cell genomic data
SESSION III: Applications of single-cell technologies in human health and diseases

The conference schedule includes time for scientific presentations and a poster session and reception for submitted abstracts.

Three abstracts will be selected for Stellar Abstract Awards and to be presented as 15-minute platform talks. Each of these speakers will receive an award of up to $500 for travel assistance or other conference expenses.
