Balser, PhD, President, Founder and Chief Biostatistician, Veristat, LLC will be moderating the event. </em></p><div style="text-align: left;" align="center">This first of two Forums prepared specifically for MassBio members will present the history of biomarker discovery, review why biomarkers are important to clinical research and explore their basic concepts. Plan to attend to receive an in-depth look into the biomarker discovery process and illustrations of their many classes. You will also learn how biomarker R&amp;D is a modular, highly interdependent process that requires a systems-based approach.</div>
