DESCRIPTION:<p>	<span style="color:#68a7bb;"><strong>Registration:</strong></span><br><a data-url="https://hsci.formstack.com/forms/2018_hsci_retreat_registration" href="https://hsci.formstack.com/forms/2018_hsci_retreat_registration" target="_blank" title="">Click here</a> to register for this free event for the HSCI research community.</p><p>	<span style="color:#68a7bb;"><strong>Poster Session Abstracts:</strong></span></p><p>	<span style="color:#68a7bb;"><strong><em>As of April 25, we are unable to accept additional posters - sorry!</em></strong></span><br><br>HSCI is pleased to announce two special opportunities for poster presenters (at the trainee level) at this year's Retreat.</p><p>	<strong>1. ORAL PRESENTATION AND AWARD OPPORTUNITY!</strong><br>The Faculty Co-chairs will select 4 abstracts from those submitted by <u><strong>Friday, April 6th</strong></u>, to deliver oral presentations at the Retreat. This will give the co-chairs time to review the abstracts, and selected authors, the time to prepare an oral presentation. Three presenters will receive $500.00* each. The top presentation, as selected by the co-chairs and audience electronic polling, will receive $1000.00*.      <em>*Winners must meet eligibility criteria for award payments by Harvard University.</em></p><p>	<strong>2. CASH PRIZES FOR GENERAL POSTER SESSION!</strong><br>Cash awards (total of 3 at $250.00 each) will be given this year to the top three posters, independent of the above-mentioned opportunity, as selected by a committee of HSCI faculty. Review will take place during the afternoon poster session.</p><p>	Abstracts must be received by <u><strong>FRIDAY, APRIL 6, 2018</strong></u>, in order to be included in the program brochure.
