#  HSCI comments on NIH Draft guidelines for Human Embryonic Stem Cell Research

n response to [President Obama’s Executive Order 13505: Removing Barriers to Responsible Scientific Research Involving Human Stem Cells](http://edocket.access.gpo.gov/2009/pdf/E9-5441.pdf), on April 23rd the NIH released [Draft Guidelines](http://stemcells.nih.gov/policy/2009draft.htm) for funding of research involving human embryonic stem cell lines. HSCI has submitted a comment letter to the NIH, which can be seen [here](http://s3.amazonaws.com/hsci_public_files/ReNIHStemCellGuidelines052109.pdf).
