Call for Proposals - 2026 CAPSTONE GRANTS

The HSCI is committed to advancing basic science to clinical applications in regenerative medicine. We are now seeking applications for 3–5-year RO1 level (~$250K/investigator/year) capstone projects that incorporate evolving technologies to resolve issues in regenerative biology with a clear line of sight to human application and a compelling public impact. All projects will be led by a Principal or Affiliated Faculty member of HSCI and involve 2-5 investigators with Harvard faculty appointments.

Capstone Program letter of intent (LOI) applications require:
1. One page (1-3 paragraphs) stating the big idea, the problem to be solved and what
technologies will be employed
2. A list of the 2-5 investigators involved
3. The PI who must be a Principal or Affiliated Faculty member of the HSCI
4. Submission via a single PDF emailed to Robert Perez, HSCI Grants Officer, robertperez@fas.harvard.edu
5. Due date: March 23, 2026

SUBMISSION PROCESS

Applicants must submit their Letter of Intent by the submission deadline.

  • Submission is via a single PDF emailed to Robert Perez, HSCI Grants Officer, at  robertperez@fas.harvard.edu 

  • Letters of Intent should be submitted no later than March 23, 2026
