# Introduction to R Workshop #### calendar\_today Date and Time **January 24 - January 25, 2017** 09:00AM - 04:00PM EST #### pin\_drop Location **Harvard Medical School, Tosteson Medical Education Center, 260 Longwood Avenue, Boston, MA** This 2-day workshop will introduce participants to the basics of using R, a simple programming environment that enables the effective handling of data, while providing excellent graphical support. Participants will learn how to use R for: • exploring basic data structures • inspecting and manipulating data • making simple plots to visualize data • making publication-quality plots with ggplot2 Prior experience with R or programming \*not\* required. Registrants must be researchers whose PIs are associated with HSCI as either PRINCIPAL or AFFILIATE faculty.
