Human Embryonic Stem Cell Facility

Facility at Children's Hospital Boston has provided a unique program that offers expertise, hands-on training, and seminars in the highly specialized field of mouse and human embryonic stem cell research. Since the core was established, more than 70 scientists representing over 50 laboratories have received training in basic hESC culture techniques. In addition to classes and training, the core has also held over 100 scientific journal and bioethics discussions and more than 10 seminars on hESC technologies, patents, funding restrictions, and stem cell guidelines.
