HSCI Membership

HSCI's Principal Faculty

HSCI's Principal Faculty are a diverse group of Harvard faculty who are advancing stem cell research and the mission of HSCI forward by participating as a committee member, program leader, or as part of the Junior Investigator Group faculty. Membership is for a 3-year renewable term.

Principal Faculty are expected to use HSCI in their byline for publications and media exposure. They are also expected to actively and regularly participate in inter-lab meetings, HSCI-sponsored activities, and have a willingness to contribute to committees and occasional fundraising efforts and events. Education is central to HSCI's mission and Principal Faculty must commit to teaching. As the Principal Faculty are the public face of HSCI, their profiles are published on the HSCI website.

Opportunities afforded Principal Faculty include preferential and discounted access to HSCI core facilities, ability to apply for HSCI funds, invitation to HSCI activities and events, and access to the members only area of the HSCI website and future web applications.

HSCI's Affiliated Faculty

HSCI's Affiliated Faculty are a broad group of Harvard faculty who have provided evidence of responsible scholarship in the stem cell field. Membership is for a 3-year renewable term.

Affiliated Faculty members are expected to participate in inter-lab meetings and other HSCI activities and to contribute to the educational mission by teaching. Their profiles are published on the internal are of the HSCI website.

Opportunities afforded Affiliated Faculty include preferential and discounted access to HSCI core facilities, ability to apply for HSCI funds, invitation to HSCI activities and events, and access to the members only area of the HSCI website and future web applications.

Affiliates of HSCI

Affiliates of HSCI include anyone in the Harvard community - students, clinicians, technicians, administrators - working or interested in the field of stem cells.
