Join a team of accomplished professionals at the Center for Regenerative Medicine at Massachusetts Hospital, consisting of research programs in basic and translational biomedical sciences.

Minimum degree and field of knowledge:    BS/BA

Years experience required:    0 - 5 years experience.

Duties:

Under the direction of the iPS core facility manager, carries out independently the daily activities of the core facility:

•    Cell culture of induced pluripotent stem cells
•    Perform standard molecular biological techniques (including cloning, DNA and RNA extraction, PCR, RT-PCR)
•    Perform immunophenotypic analysis of cells using flow cytometer.
•    Ensures quality control of equipment, reagents
•    Participates in on-going quality control/assurance programs
•    Ordering and inventory of laboratory supplies
•    2 year commitment preferred

Required Skills:

•    Good organizational skills and excellent attention to detail
•    Must be willing to learn and grow
•    Excellent documentation skills
•    Ability to perform as a team member   
•    Must have good interpersonal skills  
•    Some weekend flexibility will be required
•    Computer experience is desirable
