Two postdoctoral fellow positions are available in the laboratory of Dr. Derrick Rossi to study hematopoietic stem cell biology, lineage specification, and cellular reprogramming.

Our lab has a profound interest in understanding the mechanisms enabling self-renewal and multi-potency in hematopoietic stem cells (HSCs), which we study using cellular, molecular, genetic and epigenetic approaches. We have also been rigorously pursuing several lines of investigation aimed at reprogramming the cellular identity of a number of cell types into clinically useful cell types including HSCs using next generation technologies.

We are looking for highly motivated scientists with an M.D or Ph.D degree.  Candidates should be trained in molecular and cellular biology, and having experience working in the hematopoietic system and/or with pluripotent ES or iPS cells is preferred.
