Postdoctoral Fellow
A postdoctoral fellow position is available in the laboratory of Dr. Qiao Zhou to study mammalian regeneration and reprogramming.
Our laboratory is broadly interested in developing novel reprogramming strategies for tissue repair and regeneration. One focus of the laboratory is to exploit our recently developed model of pancreatic beta cell reprogramming to dissect molecular mechanisms of reprogamming. Another focus is to develop reprogramming strategies in the adult central nervous system to treat neurodegenerative diseases and spinal cord injury. We seek highly motivated individuals with a Ph.D degree. Candidates should be trained in molecular biology, cell biology, neuroscience, developmental biology, or related fields.
