Job Title:  Zebrafish Research Technician

Employing Hospital and Department:  MGH Center for Regenerative Medicine

Minimum degree and field of knowledge:  BS/BA

Years experience required:   0 - 1 years experience.

The lab:

The successful candidate will work in the laboratories of two Principal Investigators at the Center for Regenerative Medicine located at the Massachusetts General Hospital.  

Duties:

• Work is focused on maintaining the zebrafish facility.  
• Tasks include feeding, cleaning, and fish husbandry.
• No prior zebrafish experience is needed.   

Required Skills:

Candidates should have a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology or related science field. A proficiency in molecular biology is preferred but no previous experience is necessary. Candidates must have excellent communication and organizational skills, the ability to work both individually and as part of a team, a willingness to learn, and a dedication to doing the best job possible. Some weekend flexibility will be required
