This is the first of three Stem Cell Salons which HSCI will host in 2009-2010.  The others are scheduled for January 26 and March 9, 2010.
The Salons are evolved from the HSCI Inter-labs which were conducted for our community from 2004-2009.  In this new endeavor, we seek to embrace a congenial and informal format for sharing the latest scientific insights and challenges from our community.  Each topic will be broadly relevant to our diverse community, and we strongly encourage attendees to be active participants in the discussion.  In an effort to keep these from being simply 'once and done' events, the proceedings will be synthesized and shared on a forum on the HSCI Network website. We hope that the conversations started at the Salons will continue for some time, and that new collaborations may evolve from these sessions.

Beer, wine and light refreshments will be available.
