In previous years, the regulation of stem cell research has been a politically controversial topic. However the change from the Bush to the Obama administration means a potentially more friendly regulatory enviroment for stem cell research. Brock Reeve, the Executive Direct of the Harvard Stem Cell Institute (HSCI), M William Lensch, a researcher and faculty member of HSCI, Patrick Taylor, General Counsel of Children's Hospital Boston and Pearl O'Rouke, Director of Human Research Affairs at Partners HealthCare System will discuss the current challenges they see for stem cell research.  I. Glenn Cohen of PFC will moderate the discussion and Q&A.
